How the estimate works

It uses the share of people who changed roles within twelve months, from Lusha’s September 2026 measurement of more than 148,000 records: 21% a year in the United Kingdom, 17% in Germany, 13% in India and 12% in the United States. For other countries, or a mix, it uses 16%, the average of those four. The same rate is applied for every year since they bought: at 16% a year, about 30% have moved after two years and 41% after three.

From an estimate to names

  1. Export your past customers from your CRM as CSV or Excel. There are step-by-step guides for HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and others.
  2. Upload the file to ChampionTracker. The first check shows everyone who already moved, and where to.
  3. Write to them at their new company while the move is fresh. After that, every contact is checked every week.

Questions

How many B2B contacts change jobs each year?

Lusha measured it on more than 148,000 records in September 2026: within twelve months, 21% changed roles in the United Kingdom, 17% in Germany, 13% in India and 12% in the United States. For US sales leaders that is about 1% a month, and 25.7% over two years.

Why does it matter when a past buyer changes jobs?

Someone who bought from you already knows your product and trusts you. At their new company they are a warm lead, often looking for tools in their first months. And the account they left loses its champion, which is worth knowing too.

How do I find out exactly who changed jobs?

Export your past customers from your CRM and upload the file to ChampionTracker. The first check compares the company in your file with each person’s LinkedIn profile, so everyone who already moved shows up straight away; after that, every contact is checked every week.

How accurate is this estimate?

It is an average. The real share depends on your buyers’ industry, seniority and company size, so your list may have more or fewer moves. The estimate assumes the same rate every year, which comes out slightly below Lusha’s measured two-year figure.
